The BIG Man Comes to TP!

Sunday night Terrace Park did their annual Tree Lighting at the Green. After the lights got turned on, Santa stopped by for a visit with all the kids. Tom and Sarah Jane braved the cold temperatures and the long line to get their turn to speak with the Big Man. Tom's list was extensive, while Sarah Jane was a little shy and simply asked for an Annie doll.

Tom's first tooth came out over the weekend. The Tooth Fairy was able to find our house and left him a whole dollar! The 2nd tooth is already loose, so she may be coming back real soon.

The only raining day we had, we decided to drive over to Seaside. If you remember the movie "The Truman Show", with Jim Carrey, it was filmed here. Anyway, we had a nice afternoon there. Saw some really cool stores and places to eat. We are going to go back again in the future because it was just a nice change of pace.

The Back Porch has been around since I was the kids age, So it was nice to take them there and see them enjoy the views and the food. Plus they serve the kids' food on Frisbees!

We finally timed our lunch stop correctly and got to eat the Space Rocket Rest Stop in Huntsville, AL. This is the official halfway point to Miramar Beach.

We broke the trip down into two days. We stopped in Opp, AL for the night and the kids were happy to get into the pool. By the way, this was the only time it was not raining on the entire drive down.

Winter Project is Finished (well 95% finished)

Still need to finish the steps out that door on the left, but the deck is down, stained and ready for evening cocktails. The total project (retaining wall and deck) took us about 4 - 5 months to complete, but we saved so much money doing it ourselves, it was well worth the wait.

Dancing Bear (or Clown...whatevs)

Sarah has been taking dance classes since the Winter. It all led up to her BIG recital last weekend. I apologize for my shaky camera work, I had a 5 year old boy on my lap who was a little excited for his little sister and wouldn't sit still.

Anyway, Sarah Jane is the 2nd girl on the right and she did a WONDERFUL job!

Abby at 1 Month

She is starting to figure it out, well everything except how to nap during the day. That is when the above comes into play. The crib and the bassinet are no match for Mommy or Daddy's chest!

Introducing Abigail Louise Anderson

She was born on May 1st at 11:20 am. She weighed 7 lbs 7 ounces, which makes her the smallest of our three kids. She was 20.5 inches long.

Thomas and Sarah Jane can't wait for Abby to come home this weekend. We can't wait to get her home too.

Baby Week

So, we have reached "Baby Week", we are just under 48 hours until the third child arrives. I think we are ready for the experience, I know Emily is ready to carry the baby in her arms and not her mid-section. I'll do my best to post the details as we go thru each step. Since Emily is having a C-Section, there will be no live blogging like I did with Thomas. But, I will be sure to post some pictures on here as quick as I can on the 1st. Keep us in your prayers around 10:30 am on Wednesday.
