Sarah's First Haircut

Sarah Jane got her first haircut the other night. Grandma did the honors. She really doesn't have much hair, yet, but she twirls the hair she does have at every possible moment. So, she had a lot of knots in there. Grandma did a great job cleaning all those knots up and making Sarah look glamorous. She didn't cry at all.

Thomas also got his weeds whacked. His hair is growing like crazy. He was a little more feisty than Sarah, but he looked just as good afterwards. Going to Grandma's is better than going to a Salon!

March 2011

March has been a busy month. So far this month we have: had Sarah Jane Baptised, bought a house, celebrated 3 birthdays (Mine, AJ's and Francie's), enjoyed listening to Sarah Jane increase her vocabulary and played in 70 degrees one day and snow the next. Can't wait to see what April brings us.
The Birthday "kids" Francie (4), AJ (2), Patrick (35)...Guest Star- Tom

Tom and Sarah, just relaxing.

Tom took this picture of Mommy in the kitchen.

Hapy Birthday...to me!

Believe it or not, I had zero beers when this picture was taken by Tom. So, to celebrate my birthday, we decided to buy a house! We close tonight at 5:00 on the house below. It is in Terrace Park, and per usual for Emily and I, needs a little TLC. We most likely will move in sometime in early April. I am taking a lot of pictures of the before, because the after shots hopefully will be awesome. I look forward to being an Ohio resident once again.

Tom's First Basketball Game

Tom, my dad and I went to the UC basketball game last Sunday. It was Tom's first time to a game. As you will see in the video, he was a little shocked at the noise level. It took him about a half, and a box of popcorn, to warm up to the whole experience. I think he had more fun running on the "fake grass" outside the Shoemaker Center then he did at the actual game.

When I asked him afterwards what he thought about the whole thing, his response was, "It was really really loud in there." So, might be another few years before we head back to a game, but I'm glad he got to go this time.

The song in this video really contrasts Tom's reactions. He is Mr. Ice, he was bringing the intensity for the big game.
