| The only raining day we had, we decided to drive over to Seaside. If you remember the movie "The Truman Show", with Jim Carrey, it was filmed here. Anyway, we had a nice afternoon there. Saw some really cool stores and places to eat. We are going to go back again in the future because it was just a nice change of pace. |

| The Back Porch has been around since I was the kids age, So it was nice to take them there and see them enjoy the views and the food. Plus they serve the kids' food on Frisbees! |

| We finally timed our lunch stop correctly and got to eat the Space Rocket Rest Stop in Huntsville, AL. This is the official halfway point to Miramar Beach. |

| We broke the trip down into two days. We stopped in Opp, AL for the night and the kids were happy to get into the pool. By the way, this was the only time it was not raining on the entire drive down. |
