Wanoka Woods Pics #1

This was our house the day we closed, March 17th 2011.
This is our house around May 20th. The siding is down, one window is out, cars replaced by dumpster. Our new siding has been delivered, but not installed until the new windows are in complete.

Freeman's Birthday Weekend

Kate, Jeff and Freeman came in to town last weekend so we could all hang out with the birthday boy. Freeman was celebrating his 2nd birthday. We got some good pictures of all the festivities.

Friday night we cooked out at Gramma and Grandpa's house in Mt. Adams. The kids found a couple snails and basically spent the evening watching them on the patio.
On Sunday we went to the farm for Freeman's party. The kids had a great time playing with each other. At the end of the night, they all got gift bags with some "cool shades" in them. Tom and Freeman show theirs off above.

Flying Pig 2011

Yes, I did the Flying Pig Marathon again this year. As long as people want to come out and watch me, I'll keep running them. Emily had the Flip with her this year, so you can get an idea of what it is like to stand in the rain for 4 hours and watch mostly strangers run by you. I'm glad she took the time to do this. I never get to see what my family is doing in between seeing me. Usually near the end, I don't even realize what they are doing while with me. Anyway, without further ado, here you go!

Gymboree

The last few weeks (since Grandma has been home from Florida) Sarah Jane has been spending two days at Goddard and three days with Grandma and Grandpa. On most days they take her to Gymboree for some fun activities. You can tell from the pictures that Sarah loves her time there. She gets to explore and have her own space. It must be nice being able to play with a toy and not have your older brother come rip it out of your hands every couple of minutes. I've also noticed that she has been sleeping much better. So, thanks Grandma, Grandpa and Gymboree for keeping our little girl happy and busy.
