Van Halen Says.....JUMP!

We had a very nice day at the Farm last Saturday. The best part was Tom overcoming his fear and jumping off the dock into the lake. The first time he did it, he got water up his nose and got mad at me. He said something like, "You can never make me do that again, daddy!" Fast forward to 5 minutes later and he has jumped off the dock 3 times without anyone catching him and loving every jump. We spent the next 30 minutes doing Cannonballs and Spin-A-Rama's.

Destin Wrap Up

 The kids in the big chair our last night in Baytowne.

If you look back to last year's June Posts, you will see Tom and Francie with their favorite waitress, Dora. Well, Dora is still working at the Cantina Laredo so we got an updated picture of all the kids with her this year. We even got her email address so we could keep touch with her until we visit next time.

Last Day in Destin

We said good-bye to the beach and enjoyed some chocolate chip pancakes for lunch at the Donut Hole, Destin's third best restaurant. Bye Bye Destin for another year.

Destin Day 6

We went to the pool, but that got cut short when another child's diaper exploded and "contaminated" the water. So, the afternoon was spent feeding the ducks and trying to catch the lizards.

Destin Day 5

We finally had a day that the ocean was under control. Tom did some wave hopping with daddy and Hi-Pop, then made a bed of sand so he could relax on the beach.

The 2nd best restaurant in Destin.

Destin Day Three

Brian's beer belt, which we have used a bunch (thanks rainy weather). The kids coloring. The Big playground before dinner. End of the night Merry-Go-Round.

Destin Day 2

The birthday boy on the beach. Tom and Sarah fighting the wind and sand. We even got a little sun today.

First Night in Destin

The best restaurant in Destin, followed up by some snuggle time before bed. Not too bad for day one.

First Day in Destin

A little rainy here today, but it didn't stop us from getting to the pool. Sarah enjoyed climbing on the gate, while Tom and Francie are ready to go back for some lunch.(El Goffo flashing a gang sign in the background as a bonus)
