Tom has moved on to a "Big Boy Bed". We took the crib down a few nights back and just went cold turkey. The first night was a bit of a debacle. We did not have doorknob protectors on, so he just kept getting out of bed, opening the door, and coming into our room. He finally got tired of us putting him back in his bed around 10:30 and fell asleep. The second night went a lot better. Doorknob protectors on, he was unable to get out of the room, so he yelled for about 15 minutes. Emily calmed him down, and that was the last we heard from him. He was asleep by 8:30 and up at 7:30 the next morning. Hopefully it continues to go like this. He seems to adapt to all these changes pretty well.
