Lego Man

Tom is really into Lego's. The kid builds stuff all day long. This was a plane that also can be a helicopter and a hovercraft. The reason I know this? Tom built all three in one day. Now, if we can just get him to put the Lego's away when he is finished, we wouldn't have to go thru our vacuum bag after cleaning to find random lego parts that got sucked up.

Well, at least they are hugging.

Sesame??? Sure He Can Have Some.

As you may know, Tom had a very severe Sesame allergy that we discovered on his 1st birthday. We've been living with it for the last 4 years and it hasn't been awful, but I was surprised how much stuff had sesame in it. Well, we finally got him tested for the 3rd time a few weeks ago.

The test came back negative, which meant he was no longer allergic to Sesame!

We were a little nervous to try it out as you can see above. Epipen and Benedryl at the ready. 

But, he had his first bite of Sesame Roll and just kept on going with no issues. I'm glad he will be able to take his future dates to Thai restaurants. After all, that was how I won the heart of his Mommy.

Jacksonville with the Johnsons

The family is all back home in Cincinnati. I flew down to Tampa last weekend and we drove back home. On the way, we stopped by our friends, the Johnson's, house in Jacksonville. We got to spend a day and a half with them which was awesome. Dena and Wade took us to St. Augustine (the oldest city in America) and we got to tour a Fort and watch them shoot off a cannon.

 

Our kids all get along so well together (the adults do too, by the way). We had a great time and we miss hanging out with them. Below is a picture of Sarah Jane and Cole having breakfast together before we left for home. 

We hope to see the Johnsons again very soon.

A Flying Snowmobile?

Tom has been really into Lego's lately. He just has a knack for building things. He doesn't even need instructions anymore. This is a "flying snowmobile". Looks like fun.
